Hi Libra !

Quick answer: we don’t have a solution for this currently.

There’s a discussion here - Price promotions (discounts) · openfoodfacts/open-prices · Discussion #508 · GitHub - regarding discount management. The current implementation is for simple ones. But for complex ones like the buy X well we haven’t figured out a simple way yet…

Hi! I know you don’t have a direct solution for it right now, but my question is which practice should be preferred with current tools.

  • One price that is half of that is counted as quantity average: 1st is 30, 2nd is 10, so the price should be added as 20 ((10+30)/2)
  • 1st is 30, 2nd is 10, and two prices should be added
    • First is full
    • Second is 10 as discount price with additional commentary (or even without it)
